MEET US

Katie Pylkas-Blue, MSN CARN, Treatment Director, Owner

Katie is a Certified Addiction Registered Nurse with over 20 years of experience as a nurse helping those who suffer addiction and other chronic disorders. She has also been educated as a recovery coach through the Minnesota Recovery Connection. Katie is a board member of several recovery non-profits to support the Recovery Oriented System of Care in Scott and Dakota counties.  She is a Past President of the Minnesota Chapter of the International Nurses Society on Addictions and continues her involvement in the Minnesota Chapter to date.  Katie is a graduate of Gonzaga University where she received her Masters of Nursing with an emphasis in Health Systems Leadership.  She is a coach and mentor to many staff members and relies heavily on servant leadership to empower each member of the organization to continue to give generously her of spirit of hope through each employee.  

Marcus Blue, CADC

Marcus Blue, CADC is Sage Prairie Operation’s Director. Marcus attended Capella University and received his training through the Upper Midwest Indian Council on Addictive Disorders to serve as an addiction counselor. He is also a recovery coach who received his training at the Minnesota Recovery Connection. As a member of the Turtle Mountain Chippewa Reservation in North Dakota, he brings over 28 years of recovery to Sage Prairie.  Marcus also serves on several committees and boards to support recovery in the south metro.   

James Longhenry, CPRS-FE, Director of Business Development

James is Sage Prairie’s Director of Business Development, bringing nearly six years of experience in substance use disorder treatment to the team. With a background spanning admissions, operations, and hands-on community marketing, he has a deep understanding of the entire recovery process and the challenges clients face. Guided by his belief that everyone deserves a genuine chance at recovery, James focuses on building strong relationships, expanding community partnerships, and ensuring that individuals and families can easily access the support they need.

Junior
Junior is the Master of Maintenance at Sage Prairie and is responsible for anything that needs to be fixed, built, shoveled, plowed, etc. He makes sure Sage Prairie is ready to go!
Matthew Rommel, LADC, Clinical Supervisor

Robin Zimmerman, LADC

Robin Zimmerman is a seasoned LADC with eight years of experience working across nearly every level of substance use disorder care, excluding residential. She is trained in the Red Road to Recovery model and integrates culturally grounded, person-centered approaches into her clinical style. As an LGBTQ+ certified provider, Robin is committed to creating an affirming, inclusive, and safe environment for all clients. Her diverse background and strong clinical skill set allow her to support individuals with compassion, respect, and a deep understanding of the many paths to healing.

Ashley Collignon, ADC-T

Ashley Collignon is an ADC-T at Sage Prairie, joining the team with valuable experience from her work in a tribal-specific residential SUD program in Wisconsin. She is completing her internship with Sage Prairie and is on track to become a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor, with future plans to pursue her LPCC as well. Ashley brings a thoughtful, culturally informed perspective to her work and is dedicated to supporting clients with compassion and professionalism. Known for her warm presence and unique personal touch, Ashley proudly keeps a saltwater fish tank in her office adding a calming, vibrant environment for the clients she serves.
